Rebecca Sun
Founding Co-Chair
Rebecca Sun is the founder of Star Education, specializing in elite Canadian private school applications. Over the past 10 years, she has helped more than a thousand students gain admission to top or high-quality private schools in Canada, becoming one of the top leaders in the industry.
Rebecca is also the co-founder of WeUp Education (formerly Bonday Canada), where she has helped over 100 students from Canada gain admission to top 30 universities in the U.S. over the past six years.
Rebecca was a global executive at Unilever. After moving to Canada, she became a growth coach focusing on Canadian education planning and mental health, creating a pathway for students from China to Canada and then to the United States.
In addition, she is a certified consultant in talent strengths and career interests, holds a master’s degree in psychology, serves as a Canadian mental health ambassador, and is an Erickson-certified coach with over 3,000 hours of consulting experience.
Rebecca has a rich social support network related to Canadian education, including experts in Canadian public school selection and application, Canadian university admissions planning, outstanding teachers in various academic fields, and experts in diverse social activity fields.
